Eligibility and authority

You must be at least 18and legally capable of entering an agreement. You may submit another person's data only if you are authorized to do so and to request the processing described in the Privacy Policy.

The service

CVOptimizationApp accepts one English text-based PDF or .docx CV and one job description for a single workflow. The output is one optimized PDF. The current service has no account, dashboard, permanent history, editable DOCX output, ATS score, subscription, or email delivery.

CVOptimizationApp is not a graphic-design, template-redesign, or visual-reproduction service. It does not preserve or recreate the visual design of the uploaded CV. The output intentionally uses a simple, single-column, ATS-friendly document structure focused on readability and relevance to the supplied job description. Decorative layouts, multiple columns, graphics, icons, photos, colors, and preservation of the original template are outside the current service scope. “ATS-friendly” describes the document structure and is not a guarantee of compatibility, ranking, or outcome in every applicant tracking system.

Your uploaded CV is the sole factual source for candidate claims. The service may rewrite, reorganize, shorten, clarify, and emphasize existing facts for the selected role, but it must not invent employers, dates, skills, education, qualifications, achievements, or other candidate facts. You are responsible for reviewing the final PDF for accuracy and suitability before sending or publishing it.

Charges

The current service does not charge for a CV optimization. No subscription or recurring charge applies.

Temporary processing and download

CVOptimizationApp clears its temporary application-held copy of your CV and job description after completion or an unrecoverable failure. For a recoverable retry, those inputs may remain in process memory for up to 30 minutes, with expired state removed by the next cleanup sweep (within up to 30 additional seconds). The PDF link is single-use: access is consumed when the server starts the response, and an unused PDF expires after 20 minutes. Separate processor retention, including the AI provider, is described in the Privacy Policy. Download the PDF before the link expires. After the server starts the one-use response, the same link may not work again even if the connection is interrupted. After expiry or cleanup, the PDF may not be recoverable and a new workflow may be required.

No outcome or timing guarantee

CVOptimizationApp is a best-effort document service. It does not guarantee an interview, job offer, ATS ranking, employer response, or a specific delivery time. Technical limits, provider failures, maintenance, malformed input, safety checks, or temporary interruptions may prevent or delay completion.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service for illegal activity, fraud, impersonation, unauthorized use of another person's personal data, malware, automated scraping, probing, attempts to bypass security controls, or other abusive activity. We may refuse or stop abusive use where lawful and may take reasonable steps to protect the service and other users.

Availability and responsibility

The service is provided without a service-level agreement. You are responsible for keeping your own original CV and for downloading and reviewing the generated PDF during its availability window. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

Law and disputes

Changes to the service or terms

We may update the service or these terms when the product, law, providers, or operating model changes. The effective date shown on this page identifies the version that applies when you start a workflow. Material changes require a new review before public release.
